Kwakshua, Calvert Island, B.C. [British Columbia] July 13, 1939.
A single bird came into the
lagoon with a flock of 7
Greater Yellowlegs. Another individual
was seen in the same place later
in the day - possibly the same one.
Fitzhugh Sound. July 15, 1939
A dowitcher in summer
plumage accompanied by 2 dunlin
in winter plumage flew past
the boat when we were
proceeding up the middle of the
sound. They and all other shore
birds were proceeding south.
