Weather: fine - heavy [word crossed out]
We went in to the stampede
again with the Tuckers.
After dinner Betty and Charlie [Cox]
took us in the town and we
had Coffee at the Lakeview
and sat on the wall of the
Indian dance hall watching the
fun.
Westwick Lake Saturday, July 2, 1955
Weather - fine and cloudy
We slept in, after getting home
at dawn. After lunch Nancy [Mahoney]
hitched a ride in to town with
Mrs. Johnson to look for a horse,
and I tagged 120 grebe nests.
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] visited Betty [Cox] and Mrs. Su [words crossed out]
the duck.
Westwick Lake Sunday, July 3
Weather: fine - large storm in the
afternoon. It came right through
the tent.
Betty [Cox] and Charlie Cox drove Nancy [Mahoney]
and me in to town and Nancy
bought her horse Pickles, and
rode him home through the
rain storm. A little puppy
followed me home and got
