[August] 10 Weather: fine Banded Cummings Lake 27 goldeneye; 26 scaup (lesser) We saw a flock of a dozen [male symbol] and [female symbol] redwing blackbirds Westwick Lake Thursday, Aug. [August] 11 Weather: fine I drove the jeep into town to return it to Lawson [Sugdon]. Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] has broken camp, and is going to Loon Lake, so we took in a load of his stuff to the P.G.E. [Pacific Great Eastern Railway]
