Abundant, about the same numbers
as Yellowheads. Courting + some females
present but males outnumber the
females.

Saw a [male symbol] Redwing chasing several
[female symbol] and a few [male symbol] Yellowheads from
(a nest site?) The [female symbol] Redwing was
just sitting on the reeds.
August 29, 1955
Mixed flock, mostly redwings and
some yellowhead seen at Onward
Ranch - over 1000 birds.
