Grazing. warthog: Hippo [hippopotamus] graze very close on creeping grasses + mat forming
kob, Reed buck, Waterbuck etc. graze moderate clump flower
such as Chloris gayana [underlined], Hyparrhenia filipendula + Cenchrus ciliaris
Buffalo graze coarse tussock forms particularly Sporobolus
pyramidalis [underlined].
During periods of drought overlap occurs.
Buffalo density 16,036, this averages 26.3/sq [square] mile of park area
+ a biomass of 11-12 tons/sq [square] mile of buffalo alone.
July 4. Meetings got under weigh [way]. Attendance about 150 I would
say. Most of the significant points + people are contained in
the Proceedings, which will be published by the EAFRO.
