Describes the fortunes and prospects of East Indians, Chinese, and Japanese in Canada at the time. Shanghai, The Commerical Press, 1931. (UBC-Main) JV7285 07 c45 A 2 part study. Part 1 consists of a historical survey of oriental immigration. Part 2 consists of a study of the economic and social conditions of oriental immigrants. Period covered from the beginning of immigration to the 1920*s. The author was of the opinion that assimilation of the oriental immigrants was possible and desirable.
