A 2 part study. Part 1 consists of a historical survey of oriental immigration. Part 2 consists of a study of the economic and social conditions of oriental immigrants. Period covered from the beginning of immigration to the 1920*s. The author was of the opinion that assimilation of the oriental immigrants was possible and desirable. He concludes his study by saying that Canada and the U.S. had a "perfect right to keep their country as white as possible."
