Horse range.

follows 1, 2 yrs [years]; 4, 3 yrs. [years], 1 4-yrs [years] rest adult.
All moulting heavily.
Banff July 3/46.[1946]
At Windy Cabin
1 7 yr old ram

1 yrling [yearling] [female symbol].
All moulting + mostly in summer
pelage.

[J.J.] Meredith at Kootenay Park states
that the bighorn herd there now
numbers about 60 to 65 head.
So far about 10 lambs have been
seen - the first one June 9.
One dead lamb was picked up -
cause of death unknown.
On way home saw 3 or 4 rams
high on the ridge opposite settlers
road - toward the Simpson River.
