Monashee Pass. June 25-27/37 [1937].
Saw a [illegible word crossed] a bird soaring
over the pass.
Mt [Mount] Revelstoke. July 19/37 [1937].
Several times have noted
these hawks on westerly slope.
Today when driving towards
summit saw one with ground
squirrel by side of road at
about 5900 ft [feet]. It dropped
the ground squirrel which
ran into a burrow.
