Yesterday rode to Bryant Pass
seeing little en route but 1
coyote. Two pair of caribou antlers.
On way noticed a populous colony
of Microtine on the head of Minago
Creek. Returned to it after supper
+ set 15 traps. By hand _
with the traps caught 41 mice
overnight - these were 20
Synaptomys [underlined] + 21 M.p. [Microtus pennsylvanicus] drummondi.[underlined]
Sat up half the night skinning
In AM packed in a light
snowfall + came home after
an uneventful ride.
