Mt Revelstoke July 5, 1937.
Took a [male symbol] in winter pelage, [female symbol]
taken July 1 was in summer pelage.
This [male symbol] had large piles of scales
of spruce + balsam cones on the
ground in a small balsam clump.
Nest was underground. Have seen
no tree - nests here + but 2 on
Monashee.
July 7/37 [1937]. In a trap set near the
nest of above [male symbol] took a [female symbol] in
winter pelage. Not pregnant or
lactating. There was another
[male symbol] in the tree close by.
