- 83 Dish d: 21.3 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722)
Attractively decorated in graded rouge de fer and gilt, the design on this dish is reminiscent of a flower arrangement with eroded rocks, peony spray, grasses and a cabbage-like plant with broad leaves. There are four butterflies alternating with floral sprays around the edge. The underside is decorated with freely drawn grass sprays.
84 Bowl d: 17.5 cm, Yongzheng (1723-1735)
The exterior of this famille rose bowl, with flared rim, is decorated with a branch of pink peonies, yellow and blue chrysanthemums, and a yellow butterfly. There is a six-character mark of Yongzheng in a double circle on the base.
