- Monashee Pass to Canoe, B.C. [British Columbia]
June 28, 1937.
We left Monashee at about
10 o'clock, this morning was
a very hot day, reached
Vernon by lunch time
+ then proceeded to Salmon
Arm. On the way the
car started to overheat
very badly + we spent half
the afternoon trying to
locate the trouble. Spent
the night at Canoe auto camp.
Canoe, B.C. [British Columbia] June 29, 1937.
Spent all today in a garage
at Salmon Arm trying
to find out what is
ailing with the car.
Ran out to Tappen this
morning + in an hour
+ a half took 5 Pikas.
At Canoe bats are
numerous. Oriole, Catbird,
Nuchal Sapsucker etc [etcetera] common.
