This brushwasher of compressed circular form resting on very shallow foot is covered with a pinkish-red peachbloom glaze. The interior, rim and base are glazed white. There is a six-character mark of Kangxi in underglaze blue on the base. vn(b) Brushwasher d: 11.8 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722) This brushwasher of squat circular form has an attractive mixed glaze of green and pinkish-red known as unripe peachbloom. There is a six-character underglaze blue mark of Kangxi on the base. vn(a) Brushwasher d: 1 1 .8 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722) vm Brushrest h: 9.8 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722) Modelled in the form of a five-peaked mountain, this brushrest, with mottled turquoise blue crackled glaze, has an unglazed base with a few drops of blue glaze.
