- 81 Bowl d: 29 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722)
The interior of this iron-red decorated bowl is painted with the gilt character shou (longevity) surrounded by a continuous lotus scroll which encircles the Eight Buddhist emblems: jar, lotus, canopy, umbrella, conch-shell, wheel of the law, mystic knot and fish. The underside has eight gilt longevity characters alternating with the Eight Buddhist emblems over lotus flowers in red. The base has a six-character mark of Chenghua in a double circle.
82 Shallow Bowl d: 3,2.7 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722)
The interior of this large shallow bowl is decorated with a prunus tree in iron-red, gold and aubergine enamels which continues on the reverse side. The inside rim is edged with a green, yellow and blue hatched diaper pattern. The base, with double footrim, has a six-character mark of Kangxi in a double circle.
