this band died up on the hills where
they were not found.
Reproduction:- So far this spring since
the lambs were born only 8 ewes
have been seen + these had 2 lambs
with them.
Tyler + [J.J.] Meredith both noted
haemorrhagic condition of lungs +
petechiae on adjacent viscera. Also
mentioned laboured breathed, struggling
for breath, heavy nasal discharge
in some cases + violent coughing.
Food:- In winter had been browsing

Reproduction:-
10 ewes with 4 lambs seen +
someone else reports 8 ewes with 7
lambs but I have not confirmed this.
Range:- Walter Nixon, trapper, of Invermere
reports sheep on the W. [west] face of Quartz Mt [Mountain]
and near Citadel pass. These sheep
ranged as far west as the head of Pitts
creek + the Mitchell.
