Calculated population: Deer. Distance 12 miles strip visible to average width of. 100 yds [yards]. Total area counted about 2/3 sq [square] mile, population about 19 per sq [square] mile. Estimated correction 33 1/3 % or total population on the lake shore strip about 25 per sq [square] mile just now. Strip roughly 1/4 mile in average width. Thus total deer population along shoreline from Minnewanka cabin to Bankhead may be in the vicinity of 100 deer Wardens estimate of sheep = 50-75 head.
