- Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] spent the morning on the trap and did the cliff swallows. In the afternoon he rowed down the Lake. In the morning I scrounged boards for a blind and Nancy [Mahoney] worked on eggs. In the afternoon I did Sorenson Marsh and Nancy did Westwick. We all went riding in the evening. On the way home Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] and I picked up Mary Fairfield in her box. Westwick Lake Tuesday, July 12 Weather; fine Max. [Maximum] 90 [degree symbol] in the shade Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] spent the whole day watching Mary Fairfield in the enclosure. I went into town to shop. Nancy [Mahoney] did laundry and built a blind on Sorenson. There she checked the Westwick Grebes. The double T ranch (except Betty [Cox] who had unexpected company) came to dinner. Westwick Lake Wednesday, July 13. Weather: fine In the morning Nancy [Mahoney] and I finished putting up a blind in the grebe colony on Sorenson. I spent most of the afternoon watering the garden.
