Weather: fine, clouding over with
showers in the evening.
Nancy [Mahoney] and Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] checked the marsh
again. I watered the garden.
Nancy [Mahoney] and Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] went up Sorenson
in the morning, checking nests,
while I watched grebes from the
hill. In the evening, Nancy [Mahoney]
and Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] invented mosquito
nets - Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] with a pith helmet
and Nancy [Mahoney] with a stew pot.
Westwick Lake Tuesday, June 14.
Weather: cloudy with showers and
sunny spots - thunder shower in
the afternoon
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] saw 2 [male symbol] and one [female symbol] Cowbird.
I tried to catch the flickers
Nancy [Mahoney] missed yesterday, but they
are feeding their young from the
edge of the hole.
Westwick Lake Wednesday, June 15
Weather: cloudy and fine - heavy
shower at dinner time.
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] spent about an hour and
a half this morning telling me about
violets, and Nancy [Mahoney] spent the
morning in the marsh. In the
