The central medallion of the interior is painted with five different Sanskrit letters within a double vajra (double thunderbolt sign). The base is marked with a six-character Chenghua mark within a double square. 19 Bowl d: 12 cm, Yongzheng (1723-1735) The central medallion in the interior of this blue and white bowl is decorated with three peaches within a double circle. The upper rim is decorated with a flowing scroll pattern on the inside and outside. The exterior is painted with three types of flowering fruits; peaches, pomegranates and melons. On the base, which is surrounded by a band of lappets, is the six-character mark of Yongzheng in a double circle. Examples of bowls of this pattern copied originally from Chenghua palace bowls are found in most subsequent Qing reigns.
