at 3:30 P.M.
Moderately full.
49% salal.
51% alder
trace willow.
Arbutus are heavily browsed,
2 of the 3 species of willow, huckleberry,
dogwood, salal, ocean spray
heavily browsed. as also fir +
cedar - no hemlock only 1 jack
pine seen browsed.
Sweet after death, maidenhair
rose + bearberry moderately
utilized, Salmonberry, berberis
Cerastium arvense. a little used.
Manzanita not touched.
All rose haws had been
eaten. all bramble vines
seen showed signs of browsing
mushroom Tricholoma [underlined] probably personatum [underlined] eaten
Weights. Fork buck dressed 80 lbs. [pounds]
Entrails 23 lbs. [pounds] - 103 lbs. [pounds]
Parasites, not examined for internal
paras. [parasites] except lungs + liver.
D. [Dermacentor] albipectus [underlined] + Lipoptera [underlined] abundant
no mallophaga.
