Rose Harbour. Aug. [August] 18/46 [1946].
We have taken one of the two bats
seen here + this evening wounded
the other but lost it. This bat
flies fast + low without circling
+ fluttering as do the smaller
myotis. One individual apparently
occupied some cranny in a large
dead snag. Flight began at
mid dusk.
Sandspit. Aug [August] 30/46 [1946].
Charlie [Guiguet] brought back a juvenile
keeni [underlined] from Copper Bay + is of the
opinion that most of the high flying
bats there are of this species
