Cloudy. Heavy rain all p.m. [evening]
About 12.30 p.m. three terns came circling
about south end of Lake. After flying about
from bay to bay for half an hour they
left south end of Lake. At 1.30 pm a
flock of 14 terns passed down the lake
without stopping. Of the three birds first
seen only one appeared to be an ad. [adult] +
two juv. [juvenile]
