Crop of [male symbol] contained 1/4 cup hemlock tips

[male symbol] 50% buds + flowers of Hypochaeris
40% berries of Gaultheria
10% " of V. [Vaccinium] parvifolium
[female symbol] 50% Gaultheria berries
40$ Hypochaeris flowers
10% V [Vaccinium] parvifolium berries
These two grouse had tumors on heads
+ legs. On head largest at base of beak
+ invading palate, others on periorbital
skin, margin of ear opening + back
of head. On legs, heel, tarsus +
interdigital skin + bone small tumors.

[female symbol] ad [adult] with large tumor over
right eye measuring 17 mm [millimetres] ant.-post. [anterior-posterior]
+ 15 mm [millimetres] across. The summit of
the tumor is slightly eroded +
apparently necrotic, it is brownish
in color in sharp contrast
with the lemon yellow pigmented area
surrounding the base of the tumour
The color of the base of the tumor
is that of the supraorbital comb
+ in as much as this color extends
over
