- The treated were all left. Treated with
Phenothiazine A new tasteless anthelminthic [anthelmintic]
is under experiment.
She has found that pellets [word crossed out] seeds to be taken
must be rough, + not spherical - apparently
cannot grip round, smooth seeds.
Has used weevils to hollow out grain
for filling with anthelminthic [anthelmintic].
Anthelminthic [anthelmintic] no good for syngamus
because treated birds die from decomposition
toxins of dead worms.
Game Farm [anthelmintic]:-
36 pens of pheasants of 5 farms.
1 Native ring neck.
2 Chinese ring neck (looks like formosan)
3 Mongolian.
4 blackneck
5. versicolor [word crossed out]
5. melanistic mutant. (P.c. [Phasianus colchius] tenebrosus).
They only keep all these because of local
pryudries for the various types.
The blackneck is the better bird in heavy
brush + woodland. The wild stocks are the
most viable.
Partridge + pheasant hatched by bantams
which they raise for their own use.
