the office + hung up on planter
ledge over bookcase where it was
left for the night.
Night janitor reports not seeing
bat during night.
March 21 - Bat not seen in day (but at night by janitor)
" [March] 22 - Bat found behind radiator
in gen. [general] office
Bat fed greedily on minced raw beef
soaked in milk - ate appreciable amount
than transferred to battery jar in which
was placed a piece of corrugated cardboard
for support.
[March] 24th Took 1 small piece of beef (unsoaked)
but mismanaged[?] rest. Drank readily
from pencil - also on next day
[March] 27th Drank readily from pencil
[March] 28th Drank 2 1/2 "squirtfuls" of milk
offered in eyedropper.
[March] 29th Bat much weaker; unable to fly; eyes
appear to be infected.
[March] 31st Specimen killed in cyanide bottle +
skin made up. Male
