Two from Unalaska - Eyerdam.
Brilliant pattern of dark + bright green
+ white. Ant [anterior] valve with 8 rows of studs
2nd valve almost as long as broad, ridge
with M pattern remainder of
central + lateral area with horny studs
On 3rd - 4th valves longitudinal rows
of confluent studs pattern central area.
Lateral areas have rows of studs continuous
with those of antrel [ventral?] area but at a 120 [degree symbol] angle
from them. Post. [posterior] margin with a row
of longer studs graduated in size from apex
to margin.
In the larger spec. [specimens] sculpture is
almost worn off. Inside whitish
cones widely separated, notch broad
+ shallow. Girdle, low mossy
