- 12 Dish d: 15.8 cm, early Kangxi (1662-1722)
The interior of this dish is painted with a spray of roses in underglaze blue and pale red. To the right is an inscription in blue and a seal mark in red. The underside has sketchy bamboo sprays in underglaze blue. There is a �spider� mark (a form of the character shou) in a double circle in underglaze blue on the base.
13 Bowl d: 15 cm, Kangxi (1662-1722)
The interior of this fine blue and white bowl, which is based on the palace style of Chenghua of the Ming dynasty, has a central medallion of a lotus in a double circle surrounded by continuous peony scrolls. The exterior is painted with a continuous scroll of four star-shaped flowers in two pairs separated by buds, and below is a double lotus petal border. There is a six-character mark of Kangxi in a double circle on the base.
