10 mile Lake, Quesnel. June 28 - July 2/36 [1936]
Next to the Redstart this is the
most abundant warbler. Its song
consists of 5 syllables. Swee-swee
swee-whitl-swee given deliberately.
I took a [male symbol] at our camp at 9 AM
June 30 + by 7 PM July 1 its territory
was occupied by another [male symbol]. 4 days
later the same territory had another
singing male + a [female symbol] was seen +
taken.
