- Swan.
Jasper, Alta. [Alberta] May 4, 1944.
Alec Nelles tells me that in June
1930 +/- a pair of swans were
seen on Fortress Lake, they were
seen again in June of the following
year.
I today saw 8 adult swans on
Talbot Lake. They looked small +
were Whistlers I am almost sure.
Nelles reports that he has seen
as many as 30 on the Lake at one
time. Also says that many more
stop on Rock Lake just outside
the park.
