Saw + collected 2 of these birds on a
rocky point on Burnaby narrows
One had very bright yellow legs,
the other pale greenish yellow legs.
Sandspit. Aug. [August] 24/46 [1946].
Last night saw 6 of these on a beach
of large boulders near Copper Bay. Shot
2 yng [young] + 1 ad. [adult] Two had small crabs
in stomach, 1 a 1 1/2" [inch] sculpin.
