- Clethrionomys [underlined] Mt [Mount] Revelstoke. July 7, 1937. In all the Red-backs taken, 24, half females, there have been but two giving information as to breeding cycle. One had 5 embryos 12 mm [millimetres] long, another had 6 just started. None were lactating. Both these taken July 3-6. This mouse seems to be abundant along the margins of rockslides as well as in the clumbs [clumps?] of balsam. One individual had been eating Usnea, another a fine green moss.
