- “For Disposal” or “Clothing and Personal Effects Wanted Later” (to facilitate storage so that if at any future time it becomes possible for such packages to be sent into the Civil Assembly Centre they may be easily located).

4. Envelopes for lists of Property, etc., Keys. An envelop is supplied to each single adult or head of a family group in which must be placed.
a) Property Form No. 1 (in duplicate) – List of articles to be taken to the Civil Assembly Centre.
b) Property Form No. 2 (in duplicate) – List of articles left behind in G.E. Marden & Co.’s Godown. (State nil where necessary).
c) Property Form No. 3 (in triplicate) – List of articles left behind in home. (State nil where necessary).
d) Property Form No. 4 (in duplicate) – Plan of location of dwelling. If apartment or boarding house, state where situated in building, i.e. Room 4, 3rd floor.

f) Keys:
1) Residence and Locked Rooms Therein:
A red tag (obtainable at the Civil Assembly Office) must be attached to each key and it must be clearly marked, for example: “Front Door”. “Dining Room Door”.
2) Boxes. Trunks and other containers to be stored in G.E. Marden & Co.’s Godown:
A green tag (obtainable at the Civil Assembly Office) must be attached to each key and it must be clearly marked, for example, “A. SMYTH-PACKAGE NO. 1”. The entrance number or the person must be clearly marked on the reverse side of each tag.
The envelope must be clearly inscribed (in block letters) with the name, entrance, Civil Assembly number, nationality and last private address of the person. Envelopes must be handed in on the day of assembly.
5. Marriages unrecognised for the Purpose of Civil Assembly:
1) Marriages between AmericanBritish Nationals and persons of East Asian Race – Chinese, Filippino and others.
2) Marriages after the 5th December, 1941, between AmericanBritish Nationals and Nationals of a country neutral to, or allied with, Japan.
The AmericanBritish partner of such a marriage must go to the Civil Assembly Centre, but young children, if any, will stay at home under the care of the remaining parent.
3) Alien wives of American husbands (excepting those of British Dutch or Belgian nationality) will not be sent to the Civil Assembly Centre.
