Dear Contributors of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association in Victoria,
On 6th this month we received your letter and your contribution funds $870 to Henan Province, forwarded by Guang Hua Yuan Da Bao Agency in Hong Kong. Thank you very much for your benevolent act, which could help relieve the stricken area. We are impressed by your concern for the fellow Chinese in China. We shall soon send the funds to the people in the stricken area. We have made 33 receipts filled in with the names of the contributors and shall ask Guang Hua Yuan Da Bao Agency to forward to you. Please give these receipts to the contributors respectively and send our gratitude to them on behalf of the people in the stricken area.
