on the goat lick at mile 27.

Saw one old [male symbol] right where I saw
one last year just above the lime kiln.
Braznet says there are about 15 goat along
Fiddle Creek N [north] of Hot Springs.

7 goat on rocky hillsides 2 miles east of
Devona. Only 2 seen closely - both [female symbol]'s .

On the slopes of Tunnel Mountain
counted 6 goat.
Devona:- May 11, 1944
On the way back from Devona
counted 9 goat of these 7 may have
been seen before.
Shalebanks. May 17, 1944
2 goat on west lick when we got here
this afternoon - both [male symbol]'s
Shalebanks. May 18/44 [1944]
3 goat on w. [west] lick, 3 more on
east lick + 3 on top of far west ridge
3 of these were [male symbol]'s - photographed one.
Willow Creek May 20/44 [1944]
Saw 15 goats on the s [south] side of the hill
north of here on the boundary.
