Warden Langford tells me - from
memory - that in 1926 - the
last year of trapping in Jasper
Park. 354 coyote were taken.
Of these about 105 were taken
along the Miette from Yellowhead
E. [east] + around the junction of
the Miette + Athabasca. This
pretty well cleaned them out of
that area.
