  • Lac la Hache 1942 July 7th - Up at 6; took down tent, had breakfast + packed car. Stopped at Forbes to pick up boat + say good bye. Stopped at Ogden's store for mail + to leave forwarding address. Finally left Lac la Hache at 9:15. Stopped at 108 Mile lake to watch cattle branding + castration, met Ferris (Travel Bureau) at 100 Mile House where we stopped to talk + get gas. Lunch at 2 P.M. at Kelly lake. Supper at 7 at Lytton - stayed over night at Kanyon Vim Auto Camp. July 8th Up at 6 + away shortly after 7. Called at Thochus[?] at Little Mountain, Hope + picked up a jar of amphibians + snakes. Lunch near Chilliwack; Vancouver shortly after 3 P.M. Caught 7:15 Ferry from Stewarton.
