Weather: periodic rain - on sunny
spell in the morning long enough
to get to Goldeneye Lake and
half way back.
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] and I walked to Goldeneye
Lake. On the way we found 2
more Brewers blackbird nests and
one Robin's nest. In the
afternoon it really rained. We
had our first good thunder
storm, with lots of good loud
thunder claps. We saw three
Western Tanagers at this end of
Westwick.
Westwick Lake Friday, May 27/55 [1955]
Weather: partly cloudy and clearing
in the evening. Warmer.
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] and I went into town
to get groceries and mail. If
we want the stage to stop, we're
to hang out a rag on the fence.
Westwick Lake Saturday May 29/55 [1955]
Weather: cold, windy, cloudy
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] and I worked indoors in the
morning, while Nancy [Mahoney] watched grebes
- which were doing nothing at all.
Tonight Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] and Nancy [Mahoney] did the
