Well, we’re back in "Sunny France" again, and mighty glad to be there too, Ypres is certainly "no bon" for this unit, and I sincerely hope we've seen the last of Belgium, Y/hile I only had four days upthe line,,owing tb my bum feet, it was enough, I hated to stay at Hqrs, the second trip, but I simply couldn't make the grade,
Charlie Lundy's ill luck still pursues him, or perhaps I ought to call it good luck thistime, for he has probably made Blighty with shell shock and concussion, H e was blown 20 feet by an H.E,, but was not wounded at all, Tetlow was only about ten feet from where the shell burst, but hearing it coming he flopped in the mud behind, a dead horse and so escaped it. He came down later with gas blisters on his legs. The rest of thegang came through it with flying colors.
Oh phawj I'm not in a writing mood at all, so I'ip going to bring this putrid letter to a close. Will write again in a few days.

A barn in France,
Hov. 25th,, 1917. •
Dear Mother and Dad,-
Now that the kid has migrated to more comfortable quarters,.
1 guess it will be up to me to keep you posted on the "why? end wherefore" relating to the welfare of the remaining members of our tribe still "Somewhere in France". I am taking it for granted that the kid has made Blighty>by now, although I haven't heard from him to that effect. Expect a letter most any day now giving me his Blighty address. Will be glad to get it too, for there are quite a few letters I want to forward to him.
Interruption Ho 1. has just been relegated to the back ground, but as it was a case of eating good stuff out of a paxoel, why I didn't mind at all. When Charlie Lundy went down the line, he told Jimmy Park to share with the gang any parcels that came for him.
One of them turned tip today, with the aforementioned result.
You'll no doubt be very pleased to hear that we are out on a well-earned rest at present, and oan't say when we'll be back in the line again. There axe xumors flying axound that we are to xun a divisional xest station fox a couple of months, I sure hope we do,
