A doe at West Bay,
Gambier Island in 1919 had
one fawn, that fall she
was wounded in the shoulder
+ did not breed. In 1921
she had one fawn [words crossed out] twins + from then
on had twins annually,
until she died at the age of
21 - died on St [Saint] Valentines
day. Had lost all her teeth
+ died from inability to
eat.
