Photographed a flock of 19 Snow
geese in a meadow near Telegraph
Bay. They are reported to have
been coming there to feed +
drink every day for the past
week.
Sea Island, B.C. [British Columbia] March 21, 1943.
Tracks + fresh droppings abundant
Lulu Island. March 23, 1945.
Counted 4800 snow geese.

Only one bird seen
Vancouver May 7/48 [1948]
The winter flock between here + Skagit
has this year been 29000 +/- birds
with a very low prop. [proportion] of yong. [young] 1.3% on
10,000 birds - see letter from Jeffrey.
