Timelining Colonialism: The Creation of the University of Victoria in BC, Canada by Shirina Evans This graphic contrasts oppressive colonial laws, legislation privileging Euro-Canadians, and UVic’s development on Lək̓ʷəŋən territory. This juxtaposition links Canadian education with legally shaped dispossession and settler empowerment.
