June 17, 1936 Anarchist Mt.
At 5 o'clock, at the top of
the hill 11 miles from Osoyoos
a Doe Whitetail walked easily
across the road within 20 yards
of us. Stopped and looked back
and then trotted out of sight.
I went after it + got 2 shots
at it running with the
shotgun - 60 yds. [yards] - too far.
It was in full summer set.
The tail had a small dusky
spot near the tip.
