At Minnie Lake there was a
brood of 21 large #2 redheads +
a small group of blue-winged
teal + mallard. Ten years ago
on the same date [J.] Munro
counted over 1000 ducks, mostly
scaup, on the lake.
We then returned to Stump
Lake + on the southern tip
found about 700 adult Scaup
mostly [male symbol]'s 150 Baldpate,
30 Bufflehead, 22 Goldeneye, 15
Holboell + 20 western grebe, 7
Pelicans + a lot of coots.
Set out 11 gopher traps

only a scattering of ducks on
the lakes N [North] of Stump Lake.

Separation + Trap Lakes - nothing
Macdonald's Lake. 7 Baldpate, 4 mallard, 2
Bufflehead, brood of scaup.
