Meldrum Creek. July 6/48 [1948]
On July 4 half way up Sheep Creek
Hill on the west side I watched a
catbird at a distance of 4 ft [feet]. It
was highly agitated + appeared to
have a nest.
Quesnel, B.C. [British Columbia] July 19/48 [1948]
At Dragon Lake in the willow
clumps on the SE [southeast] shore saw +
heard a pair of catbirds.
Alkali Lake. Aug [August] 12/48 [1948]
Several of these birds were
noted here during our banding
operations.
