- Long-tailed Curlew [underlined]
White Lake, B.C. June 1, 1941.
Found two pairs breeding on the flat north
and north east of the lake. According to
[S.J.] Darcus, quoting C. deB. Green they have not
nested in this area during a period of obser-
vation extending from 1893.
Holland reports them (3 prs. [pairs]) as breeding
for at least 4 years on the range between
Kamloops and Savona.
G.T.[should be G.J.] Spencer reports breeding birds from
the range east of the road to Lac du Bois on
the first road to the right (east).
Two pairs - those above - seen by [Clifford] Carl on
Herron Range.
