The nearly complete absence of [male symbol] ducks (recognizable
as such) [arrow right] noteworthy.
July 11. Water level comment here + throught [throughout] nests [word crossed out] notes,
-number of Indians not changed much in 30 yrs [years],
but av. [average] age younger (there is a steady human pressure
on duck pop. [population], but how serious was hard to determine)
