We are indeed thankful to Ocean Pointe Resort for the generous donation they have given to make this exhibition and publication possible.
Two major private kesa collections from Japan as well as the collections of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and Seattle Art Museum are included in this publication. We are indebted to Bunzo Nakanishi and an anonymous lender in Japan for graciously loaning their kesa collections to this exhibition.
The exhibition would not have been possible without the assistance of a huge number of volunteers who helped with preparing the kesa for in�stallation: Lorraine Adamson, Margaret Blackwood, Linda-Mary Bluma, Fran Cornish, Jennifer Howe, Nancy Klazek, Mary Shields, Ann Tighe, Lori Graves, and others.
