Both males dissected today had
the tip of the penis encased in
a mass of congealed seminal
material. When removed it
came away as a perfect cast
of the penis + also of the
urethra for a distance of
2 inches. This I take to be
the result of involuntary
discharge of the seminal
fluid at time of death.
The larger female today
had a large copulation plug
in the vagina. At its widest
this plug measured 23 mm [millimetres] + it
was 50 mm [millimetres] in length. The
uterus was enlarged, 15 mm [millimetres] in
diam. [diameter] measured flat. The
fallopian tubes engorged with
blood + the ovaries each showed
two pronounced follicles, of a
dark red color. I was unable
to discover the ova.
