zoology + Dr [John D.] Carthy.
The [John Burdon Sanderson and Helen Spurway] Haldanes research:
Inheritance of specific characters of Triturus of
southern Europe. Work with 9 color chrs [characters]: Color of
throat (yellow or black; punctate marks on throat; punctate marks
on sides; zoning of black ventral spots, size + shape
of black ventral spots; bluish bloom on sides.
Yellow of abd. [abdomen] extending onto sides; dark spots on
back. Interestingly all are behaving like
simple mendelian characters unlike the
expectation of gene septum
The F's have about 99% mortality in most cases.
