area as elk wintering ground
sheep bones where grass + rock
come down to wigmore cr. [creek]
evince the presence of sheep
on the hills in winter. In general
it can be said that the entire
western face of the Palliser Range
is winter sheep + elk range.
The entire western face of the
Bone range is also winter sheep range
with some goat here + there while up
the Panther toward its head are
some s [south] facing sidehills where goat
winter in large numbers.
